I need a replacement handle for a heavy 8ft sliding glass door. There's no key lock just an internal lock but either option is fine, just need it to handle the weight of the heavier than normal door please

This mortise lock looks like our 82-218, which can use a handle set like our 82-030. Take a look and see what you think.

Thank you so much for these items. Is there anyway to tell if it's a sturdy enough handle for the large door? I'm having to replace my current handle because it finally cracked due to the extra weight of the door despite it being the original handle

A broken handle can often be caused by the rollers or track being either damaged or blogged by debris, making the door harder to open and close. The extra resistance can cause any handle to break. Take a look and see if any of your bottom door hardware may need to be cleaned, lubricated or replaced. Thank you!
