Searching for Guardian sliding door latch for 8002 door

Question

I am looking for a replacement lock for my (Guardian Sliding door I believe it's a 8002 series the top of the opening is rounded an I have not seen anything that's rounded without a side lip  I can't get a picture as it's only he hole as the lock assembly fell down inside and I cannot retrieve it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Thanks for posting. I am confident it is likely that we have a mortise lock that would work as a replacement for you. There is a mortise lock that comes to mind is our 82-218, however, I cannot guarantee that this is the replacement you'll need. The hole spacing for the installation holes is 3-11/16".

Since the lock has fallen into the space in the door, if you do not believe the 82-218 will work for you, I'll need to see a photo of the hole where this lock would be installed.

Please also confirm the measurement for the distance between your installation holes from center to center.
