Searching for Screen door 1580 series

Question

Screen sliding door handle/lock mechanism. Door model number reads ?1580? series, perhaps a ?Quanex? product.

Note the silver latch has a ?T? shape, as opposed to images on line showing many with just a ?hook? shape.

Could our 83-126 black sliding screen door latch work in place of this handle set? Look it over and get back to us with some feedback.
