I have ply gem aluminum frame windows from 2013. I need balances

mine are stamped 22D BSI BT

there is a clip with a cord on top

there is a clip in the shape of a sideways capital I on bottom

photos included

can you get these thanks

Your balance is unfortunately discontinued and no longer made. We do have one part that may replace it, but it has to be a custom order. Its setup is also a little different; instead of a flat metal tab at the bottom, it has a nylon "T" shaped pivot shoe.

In order to get our balance to work, you would need to remove that nylon pivot shoe and install your flat clip in its place. I'm afraid that's the only way. The flat clip itself is not made anymore so reusing your original is essential.

thank you for answering. My BSI BT 22D balances are 22" long, 1/2" wide where springs and cords are and 3/8" tall outside.

Do you also offer the rivets and rivet install tool?

I have 6 Plygem windows. one needs both side balances (the window wont stay up without a support under it. the two have only one balance that works on one side.

If I can get the rivets and tool I would purchase at least 8 of the ones you mentioned

I found a company CRL in Orlando, FL that can sell me the balances without a bottom pivot shoe attached. They also offer rivets and tool. They tell me I can go there and compare side by side with my BSI (plygem) balance

would that be better? or do yours meet my above specs?

Hey, Mike. Thanks for confirming. We do sell a rivet tool and replacement rivets, yes, though I admittedly don't know what size rivet that metal clip in your balance uses. I've made a list of all the rivets our company sells below that you can review. Please also see our 75-075 rivet installation tool.

I will also email you a purchase link and price quote for 6 of the balances I mentioned. You can use that to determine if you want to pull the trigger on this or not. If you do, you can use that same link to add the 6 balances to your cart, after which you can checkout as normal.
