I have several double hung Semco? windows where the spring in the balance has brokwn and popped up. I see that clips have popped out
I've taken 2 pictures of one of the broken balances, one of a working balance's markings, and the clip.
Can you help?

Hello,
We should be able to help but too much of the balance is obscured while it's still installed. We'd need to see the shoe at the end of the cord, but ideally, seeing the entire assembly removed from the window would be the biggest help. Thank you.

Since this is a tilt window, you would start by making sure that the sash is lifted 3"-4" above the sill before engaging the tilt latches shown on the top two corners of the window sash to tilt it towards you. Then, you'll carefully twist the bottom of the sash while it's tilted to disengage the pivot bars from the balance shoe and remove it.
