part is stamped 21 12 BS1dc

I'm afraid the stamp alone is not enough to go by. In order to help, I will additionally need photos of the balance itself.

To be more specific, I need a clear picture of the bottom end, top end, and the clip at the end of the cord. Please let me know if that would be possible.

22 inch long, 1/2 channel, stamped 21 12 BS1 My sash weighs 30 lbs.

Thanks for the additional images. I believe this is a match for our S390-22, which comes with a 19-002 top and 15-001 bottom fitting. You should check just to make sure these match up to your fittings.

Since your sash weight is 30 pounds, I recommend going with the 2165 stamp option. This carries 30 through 34 pounds and should be perfectly sufficient for this project.
