Vinyl window tilt latch (white), mortise installation, 3/8 inch thick housing. Rectangular top is 2 3/8" x 5/8". Comes in a pair, left and right.

Emily - I just finished matching up your measurements against the tilt latch I have. They're identical.

I'm going to run upstairs to get my wallet and order a couple of pair today.
