Sears Storm Window Part

I have a couple of these to replace. For the most part, the tip has broken off, however with the one pictured, the spring the back has come out and so the latch isn't working properly.

I've watched the video on replacing latches and corners, do I need the replacement part that includes the corner (where it's a complete unit)?
