I'm in the process of repairing a Seasonall double hung tilt window. In the process of removing the broken sash I also broke a spiral balance and a pivot shoe as the balance suddenly retracted as I removed the window.
I've measured the 5/8 26 inch red double pin tip spiral balance which I'll be ordering several of in case others fail.
I would really like to know the difference between your pivot shoe 15-070 and 15-047. The pivot shoe I removed had a black pivot cam in it and it measured the 2"x1 1/4x 5/8, the same measurement as both the 15-070 and the 15-047. Besides the price difference, what other difference exist between the two pivot shoes?
I have to agree with others who have participated in these discussions that you guys run an awesome site. I haven't seen as great a collection of window parts and accessories anywhere else in one convenient place. Thanks so much for the instructional videos that make doing these repair jobs possible. Bob

Thank you! I'm glad we're able to help. As for your question, the main difference between the 15-047 and 15-070 is the center cam. The 15-070 center cam protrudes out and has a rectangular shape while the 15-047 cam has an indent inside the cam for a "U" shaped tilt bar. If you'd like, you can send a photo of your old pivot shoe and we can make a suggestion.
