Secondary security lock

Home Owner
My patio door has a secondary lock similar to your part 82-051.  It's located at the top of the door.  It's coming out of alignment. A few years ago, an old friend of mine quickly realigned it by using a screwdriver at the bottom of the door, but I cannot figure out how he did it and sadly, he is no longer around to ask. I've searched everywhere online and cannot find out how to do it. Can you please let me know how to do it?

Hello,

Normally there are adjustment screws at the bottom corners of the patio glass door. At each end, you should see two screws. One screw keeps the corner of the door frame together. The other screw should be the adjustment screw. Sometimes it is in a round hole at the bottom of the door. Shine a flashlight inside the hole and you should see the adjustment screw. If it is a wood door like an Andersen door, the adjustment screw will be on the lower face of the door frame. See the related videos to assist you further and let us know if you need anything else.
