Seeking Part Advice

Quick Learner from Mandeville, lA

Hello, My husband and I purchased a home from the 1980s. We have a 33" round window that has one damaged, curved, white, vinyl glazing bead and one section of glazing bead that is missing altogether. I have never worked with glazing beads and am unsure which parts to buy. I have an idea what I need for the straight section, but am not sure what, or where to purchase a curved section. I would greatly appreciate your advice and assistance pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance your time and assistance,

Holly

Hello, Holly. We sell a ton of different glazing bead types, so we may have a match. However in order to confirm, I will need you to remove a small, undamaged portion and show me a clear shot of the end profile. That way I can make out its shape and see if any of ours match. The video below will go into more detail.

One important thing to consider at this stage, however, is the fact that most of our glazing bead is fairly rigid. You can perhaps get a gentle curve out of most of them but there is a limit to how well they can conform to a round window like this. Just something to consider.

You can see our full selection here, in the meantime.
