Seeking Replacement Sliding Door Locking Mechanism/Handle

Home Owner
Name: Craig B.

Please help me identify a suitable replacement for the following locking mechanism/handle hardware for my sliding glass door that was installed approx 25 years ago.

The following two patent #'s are stamped into the metal of it. Also embossed on the handle edge is "HiLite", which I presume is the manufacturer name. The closest match I could find is Hi Lite Aluminum products out of Western Austrilia

As the familiar adage goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words". Therefore, please refer to attch'd images of the broken mechanism. As you can see, the brown plastic wraps around the metal hook-latches have broken apart, preventing the hook-latches from rotating properly in order to lock/unlock.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, thanks for all the prior research. I am not familiar with that Australian company, I do not believe they have anything to do with your original sliding door. The patent numbers are always helpful, but not near as helpful as actual images of your handle set which you did include.

I believe you are looking for our 82-063. It does not have the wood panel sticker but it should function the same. Please measure your existing handle and compare your measurements to the dimensions found in the 82-063 product picture.
