Seeking casement hinge

I'm looking for a casement window hinge for a friend.
Does that block of plastic play a role in the hinge operation?

Hello,

Though our does not have the same plastic insert at the end of the track, I believe that you could use the 36-048 hinge set as long as you replace both hinges at the same time. Take a look and see what you think.
