Seeking replacement Window Crank

Quick Learner from Connecticut
I'm new to all of this. I'm trying to replace a folding crank handle and perhaps other parts of crank assembly. I have attached a series of pictures that show (1) the broken crank (with another plastic piece inside it that is attached to a spring), (2) a piece of dark hardware that remained on the "spindle" after the crank broke, and (3) the bare spindle that shows if I pull off the dark hardware.

I'm not sure how to measure appropriately and exactly which parts to order. Is my broken crank equivalent to your 39-205? Do I need to purchase just the crank, or do I need to purchase a replacement for the dark piece of hardware that remains on the spindle? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for posting! I agree, the 39-205 looks like a good possibility. You would need to confirm that the diameter of the spline hole is also 11/32". Refer to the picture below.

The black piece in your second photo is part of the handle, not the operator. Assuming the 39-205 is a match, this will come attached to the new handle.

Just following up. I measured and it seemed that this would be the right size.

I then ordered it and installed--PERFECT!!

I'm quite happy. Thanks for all your help!
