Semco double hung channel balance

Question

I am looking for 2 Semco channel balances. On both sides for the top sash the channel balances have went bad. The balance is ribbed. I know what I need I just need help finding the right part.

Thanks for writing in! There is a good chance that we can supply you with the replacement balances needed for your windows. However, to confirm, I'll need to see a photo of the balance shoe removed from the window channel. I'll also need to see a photo of the top of the balance.

It appears that you have a knife lock shoe of some variation. It is possible that you will need custom balances, so I'll need to see the shoe to confirm the correct replacement.

I will also need to know the exact weight of the sash the balances are supporting, down to the ounce. Unfortunately, I am unable to cross-reference the stamps from your balances. The weight will help us to determine the weight range your balances will need to be to support the weight of the sash.
