Semco window crank mechanism

Question

This was installed in the early 90s and it will not close the window anymore. The mechanism consists of a worm screw and two gears. The crank handle is marked SEMCO. The long arm attached to the window frame is marked EntryGard (an up arrow symbol) TRUTH (TRUTH is underlined). The arm attached to the second (towards the outside) gear is marked 31538A.

Take a look and compare the dimensions of the 39-031 and 39-032 Entrygard operators to yours, paying close attention to the length of the shorter link arm. Also, see the 39-107 cover and 39-205 handle the work with them. Thank you!
