We'd be happy to help but we would need to see a clear photo of your hinge assembly without the screen in the way. 

I can tell you that our senior experts have replaced the standard 10" 36-004-10 hinge set with the 36-090-10 Egress hinge, which increased the window opening by 3". If you can show us an unobstructed photo of your part, we'd be happy to confirm if this might work for you as well. Thank you. 

By replacing your standard hinge with the 36-090-10, you can increase the opening by 3". I have used this hinge in the past, however, I used it with the 39-333 "Entryguard" egress operator. You have the older style "Maxim" operator. The manufacturer says that the 36-090-10 hinge set will work with it but I have never tried it. 

Take note that you might need to move the operator closer to the hinge side of the frame. If you do need to move the operator, you will have to modify the sill cover and fill in any gaps after the operator is moved. Take a look and see what you think.
