Series 190 Coil Balance

Question

I have identified the Series 190 Coil Balance, as the necessary replacement spring for my window balancer. However, it does not have an identifying stamp which correlates to the options listed. The only identifying stamp in the metal is the number "8", just up the band from the retaining screw hole.

I can supply the window dimensions, if it would help in identifying the necessary spring.

Hi, Norman. There's no need. Your old stamp indicates that your spring can carry 8 pounds. It just so happens that our S190-840 can also carry 8 pounds. I believe this is the one you want.
