There is no stamp on my window coil. How do I know which one to get. 36 inch by 60 inch double pane vinyl window

If there's no stamp on your original coil, your only other option is to weigh the sash on a scale. Any bathroom scale will do. You need an exact weight, as precise as you can manage.

Once you have that, divide that number by how many springs support the sash. So for example if you have two springs per side and your sash weighs 20 pounds, you divide 20 by 4. That's 5, so you'd want 5 pound springs in that example.

That's a little complicated, but that's why springs come with stamps. If your springs don't have stamps then you have to do it the hard way.
