Series 380 Channel Balances Quote

Quick Learner from Hawaii
The balance length is exactly 25.5" long, it was manufactured by Milgard, the stamp on it says "25DS 36" I believe it's a series 380 as it looks exactly the same

Thank you

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this. Can you upload photos of the top and bottom fittings for your balance? We'd also like to see the metal clip attached to the end of the pulley cord. Additionally, is the 25-1/2" measurement for just the metal channel, or the overall length of the balance, including the fittings?

Furthermore, how many balances are you looking to replace?

Thank you kindly! Your old balance style is no longer available, but the manufacturer has recommended a comparable replacement option, which is a newer style and should install and function the same. There is also a 5-6 week lead time.

The 36 stamp indicates the weight the balance is calibrated to support. However, we have two stamp options for you to choose from: 2570 and 2575. A pair of balances with the 2570 stamp will support a sash weighing 33 to 36 pounds. A pair of balances with the 2575 stamp will support a sash weighing 36 to 39 pounds.

Let me know which stamp you'd like to go with, and we can send over a purchase link and price quote.

I'll go with the 2575 please.

Sounds good! I'll email you a purchase link and price quote for (2) balances with the 2575 stamp option.

We'll be here if you have any questions!
