I'm pretty sure that my broken channel balance is Series 385 with the 15-004 shoe. But to identify the correct part, I don't know how to locate the stamp option to figure out the sash weight range, and not sure about the length. On the channel balance, I see a 26 5 IR Caldwell imprinted -- I assume this means it is 26" in length. Where is the stamp option?
I had sent a message on your Part identifier platform - but had an additional question. Saw your video on how to replace the window sash channel balance. On my window (two of them) the string is cut, so the channel balance does not go up with the window (they just sit in place at the bottom of the window). Do I need an additional part to replace? or do I just manually push up the channel balance so it hooks onto the take out clips?
