I have a 385 channel balance which I am confident in the identification. The length of the metal channel is 32 5/8", overall with both wing tip components is 34".
My attachment metal clip broke. Otherwise my current balance is fine. Can I get a new clip, or what length part do I need? I see that they only come in 32" or 33" lengths. The instructions on your site indicate to measure the metal channel length only but my part does not appear to be a full 33" long.

If the length of your balance is 32-5/8", then I don't think you have our Series 385. There's specific type of balance that comes in 5/8" lengths that will have to be specially made. To confirm, I'd like a picture of the top and bottom nylon ends, the stamp, and the metal clip at the end of the cord. You mentioned your old metal clip is broken, which means we'll have to see one that isn't damaged, if possible.
I only need a new clip after further review. I've attached photos of a clip on another good unit. Sorry it took so long to respond, got busy with other projects this summer.
It's no problem at all! So, looking at your photos, you definitely have that special order balance I mentioned. You say you only need the metal clip though. I have good news and bad news about that.
The good news is, you're not the first person to request this part; we are working on having stock made up for these clips and will soon be selling them individually.
