The alum window bottom sash has a hollow (three sided) (open towards the bottom) channel running along the bottom. Does the bracket (#25) just snap into that channel with the hook towards the outside and the snap-in (1 inch tall) portion to the inside? There is nothing to screw into on this window which is non-tilt out. Your drawings don't adress these type of brackets - just the long screw-in types. Thanks for any help. Pictures would help.

I have the same builder grade window. There are screws but its from the inside track on both side. There is no access to unscrew them. Please advice on these type of frames. I wanted to replace these as one is bent. Is there a way to do it without taking the whole window apart? Or if there is a different type of bracket that could be retrofitted. 17-025, and 17-026 looks like the ones on it now. Thanks

Sorry, but non-tilt windows are very difficult to remove the sash without taking the window apart. In most cases, there are screws holding the track and you have to remove screws so you can take the sash out with the track.
