I'm a little confused. You said that you have the Series 600 spiral balance, but that the diameter is 3/8". Is this the diameter of the outer tube? If so, you'd want our Series 900 instead. The outer tube for the Series 600 has a diameter of 5/8", not 3/8". Can you confirm?

The outside diameter is 3/8. I guess I need the 900 series?

Great, thanks for clarifying. I would recommend the S900-26, then, yes. We just added a new color tip option for you that should support your sash weight, the Yellow Tip. Keep in mind we do not currently have it in stock but hope to have it soon. In the meantime, you can place an order whenever you wish.
