I have channel balances for a wood tilt window that looks exactly like your Model 751 but is stamped 27d or 27c (or 24d) which option should I choose from your list that will work as replacements?

Thanks for posting! Before I can suggest an applicable stamp, I'll need to know a few things. First, can you confirm the length of your metal channel? Can you also give me the wight of your window sash? You can determine this by removing the sash from the window and placing it on a scale. Let me know what you come up with.

The sash weighs 17.5 lbs and the length of the balance is 28 inches.

Thank you. I recommend that you go with our S751-28 channel balance. I also recommend the 27R stamp option. This can support a window sash weight range of 10 through 19 pounds.
Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
