Series 765 install

Question

Cord broke on channel balance, ordered and received the channel balance but cannot figure out how to remove part at top of window guide where the block and tackle is attached. It is a series 765 channel balance. But cannot find installation instructions anywhere and this window type does not have take out clips

This looks like our 26-053A balance stop. To remove it, use a thin flat tool to pop out the little screw cover. That will let you unscrew it from the frame.
