Series 770? But skinnier, and ribbed

Quick Learner from Texas
I bought Series 770 balances for my windows(2060266). But they don't fit with the tilt latches. A Swisco rep told me I have a plain channel/ribbed channel hybrid balance, and I need custom help.
Here are some pics of my ribbed balancers. My existing balancers are almost identical to the S770 but ribbed and just slightly narrower (just under 1/2") with a plastic champagne cover that goes on top of the balancer.

I have tilt sash windows so the angle on the ribbed balancer is needed for the tilt sash latch to engage fully which I didn't realize before.

If you can make those to match I'll probably order 4 of each 29c and 29d. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for reaching out! I am sorry to hear that your existing balances did not work out for your however, it is likely that we will be able to supply you with the right balances for your window.

To start, when you state that the channel is just under 1/2", I'll need to know just how much under. We'll need to know the exact width of the channel to confirm that we can supply you with the balances.

Since these will be a different type of balance, the stamps will be different. Therefore, I'll also need to know the exact weight each of the sashes these balances will need to carry.

Please confirm the exact number of balances you'll need for each weight.

Hi Jasmine, thanks for your response. I double checked the original balancer and the width at the back is right at 1/2" with inside opening 7/16". It is ribbed but has the same rectangle bottom piece that attaches to the lock shoe as the S770.
The original also has a plastic ribbed cover that goes over the balancer that makes the overall size 9/16". Think that is just for looks because it is champagne colored but not too worried about the cover.
I checked the weights and the smaller 33" sash was almost 18 lbs (17.8) and the larger 39" sash was 20.4 lbs so maybe the C range would be good for both.? I have 2 sashes of each weight so 4 balancers of each if they are different weight ranges for 8 total. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for confirming! I've just sent over a link for the two requested balances. You may use this link to review the pricing and to place them in your online cart to place your order.

These balances have a 3/8" channel width. Also, the 29B is for the sash weighing 18lbs and the 29C is for the sash weighing 20.4lbs.

Let me know if you have any questions.
