I have a 22.5 lb window sash for a single hung tilt window. The tube lenght is 28" and the current color is red. Should I upgrade to a green tip?

Thanks for posting! I think going up to a Green Tip could help, yes. A pair of S900-28 spiral balances with Green Tips will carry a window sash weight range of 14 through 26 pounds.

Thanks for the info you guys have a great website keep up the good work. May I suggest a chart of tube lenghts and tip color with weight capacities.
