Series S Coil Balance replacement help

I just received my coil Balances and I guess I ordered the wrong lbs ones. I got the 3 lbs but they do not keep the sash up... I was going by a number written on the old one (3) thinking that was the lbs I needed. The only thing I see stamped on the old one is 7.09X. My sash measures 22 1/2W x 26 H, double pane glass. Please let me know which ones I need to order.

Sorry to hear you ordered the wrong coil balances. Which coil balance series did you order?
I want to make sure you get the correct strength this time. Please remove the window sash from the window and weigh it. Respond back to this discussion with the weight so that I can determine which strength you will need.

I have the Series 180. The sash weighs 13 lbs on a baby scale :)
I am not worried about sending the others back. They were my mistake and I will just keep them and use them as temp backups for any other that might break.

I've double-checked my references, and it appears you need the Swisco S180-4 Coil Balance.

Hi Mike, Those S180-4 you said I needed are not strong enough either. The window will nor stay open if it is opened around 8 inches or less.
