Shelf bracket

I received my order today of (12) 32-313 : Shelf Brackets, but unfortunately, I did not order the right item.

but I think I am going to end up with the same issue. The peg I received has six sides to it (hexagonal), rather than being a perfect circle shape, like my old one.

Can you offer another solution?

I don't believe the shape of the peg should be a problem as long as the outside diameter of the peg matches the size of the hole where it installs. The peg is most likely shaped like that to keep it tight into the hole, but it's not necessary for installation. If the peg shape is too large in diameter you could try filling it down just a little so to fit into the hole.
