Shelter Window Top Rail Guide

A handy person from Boulder CO says:
This guide holds the window in the rail as the window slides open and closed. When pulled down, a tab pulls below the rail so the window can be removed for cleaning. I need a replacement for one window but would like to purchase 3 just in case others fail. Do you have the original Shelter part or a comparable replacement?

This looks like a lever for an internal tilt latch. Compatible replacements are determined by the length of the prongs on the underside of the lever, as well as the distance between those two prongs. To be honest, sometimes finding exact replacements can be difficult since these internal latches are no really no longer in use. If that's the case for you, you might want to consider converting to surface mount tilt latches like our 26-228 and 26-229. See the video below for details.
