Shoe Pivot Replacement

A home owner from Houston, Tx says:

This morning I opened a kitchen window and the left shoe pivot locked in the open position. I have removed the sash the shoe pivot appears to be broken. Regardless, it will not move up or down from its current position. Please see the attached photos. I am assuming replacement is needed. Thanks in advance for your information and help.

Hello,

I can't say for sure with the hardware still installed but this looks like our 15-087 housing pivot, which holds our Series 180 coil springs. Take a look at the related items and the videos we've associate for you. Thanks for posting!
