Shoe replacement

Windows will not stay up identified it to be a shoe issue but cannot find replacement shoe please help me.

Hello! Your shoe appears to be an older version of our 15-236, though it's not identical. Yours may be an older version. Look it over and see what you think.

Please also note that the shoe itself is not what keeps your window up. All it does is connect your sash to the balance; it's the balance that does the job of keeping the window up when raised.

Your shoe doesn't appear to be connected to any balance at all, so that may be the sole source of your issue. Before you buy anything, you should really give your window a close examination to determine what the problem is. Is the shoe broken, and thus disconnected from the balance? Is the balance missing? Or is the balance itself the only component that's broken?

These aren't questions you can reliably answer with the hardware still installed. You'll want to remove everything first so that you can better examine them for damage.
