Pivot Shoe ID

A quick learner from Long Island NY says:
Looking to replace the pivot locks on the windows the home I board I'm not sure what company they are aluminum windows see the attached pictures.
I placed an order (1126440)for the 15-047 and the 15-154. The blue pivot lock was just a little too loose in the channel and the black one the lock was too big.

It is 1 1/4 wide looks like 9/16 thick please advise

Thanks for writing in. Sorry to hear these pivot shoes didn't work out for you. See the 15-118. This is more closely related, design wise, to the 15-047 than the 15-154 is. It also is 9/16" thick and 1-1/4" wide. I suspect this would sit more securely in your window track, but look it over and let me know what you think.

Hm. Sorry to hear the 15-118 didn't work out for you. Could you show us a picture of your old pivot bar, preferably out of the window? That might clue us in as to why the 15-118 didn't work out for you. Many thanks.

A home owner from 53207 says:
The pivot shoe I have is only 1 3/4 long. Will the 2 inch work, or should I buy two (2) and replace the other side also. This is a 35+ year old Season- All tilt out double hung window.

When it comes to pivot shoes, the overall height doesn't matter. You have plenty of room in the track for pretty much any height. What matters most is thickness and width.
