What is this piece called? Runs vertical the height of the shower door.

Looks to be a sweep of some kind. This is used to seal the water in so it doesn't leak out of the sides or bottom of your door. We have a bunch of different sweeps that you can consider, which you can see here, near the bottom of the page.
