Side load window balances

A home owner from Skokie, IL says:
Hi,
The cords are broken in both side load window balances and I would appreciate your help in identifying the correct replacement part(s).

I've provided different pictures of the one balance still in the window and different shots of the removed balance. The only part number I can find is "27 TGX BSI (printed sideways) EL" although the part itself measures 28".

I cannot find the window manufacturer but the sash size is 40.437 W x 32.250 H.

Thank you,
Tony

Take a look at our S770-28, this may be a good match. Your stamp doesn't match any of our options, so I recommend weighing your sash on a scale to confirm the best option.

Thank you the S770-28 looks like a good match and the sash is 25 lbs so stamp option D looks the right one.

I'd like to replace the pivot shoes as well and the measurements are 5/8" thick, 1 7/8" tall, and 1" wide. Can you recommend the right pivot shoe?

Attached is a picture of my pivot shoe.

Thanks,
Tony

Hey, Tony. I'm having trouble finding a show that matches those measurements. Could you confirm its precise thickness and width? It may be easier to measure if it's out of the window. In the meantime you can see our entire selection here.
