Side hung window hardware

Home Owner from Connecticut
Hi, I'm looking to replace the hardware on 6 bay windows, side hung, outward opening. They don't have any markings or brand names and are original to the house built in 1976. I can take additional pictures of the window locks but I would prefer not to remove the openers until I'm sure I can find a replacement as I would have to remove part of the window trim to do so.

Hello, thank you for posting,

It appears you have an older version of the 38-097 and 38-098 casement locks. Please compare the overall dimensions to confirm a good fit! You will also need to switch out the keeper with the 38-097.

For the operator, we will need to see the window open where we can see the arm attachment. From there we can get a clearer idea of a potential replacement option. Thank you!

Hi, thanks so much. Attached are pictures of the hardware opened. I also noticed that a third window looks to have slightly different hardware than the others. Photos are attached. Would you be able to identify these as well? Thanks!

It looks like you have two different types of window hardware. The first set of photos shows older style Truth casement hardware. Unforutnately, those window locks are no longer available but take a look at the 38-097 and 38-098, along with the 38-079 keeper. This is the newer style, which should replace the ones in your photo. The same goes with the casement operator. Take a look at the 39-028E with the 9-1/2" arm to see how the specifications compare to yours. If your casement operator arm is the same length, this should work for your window.

The next set of photos shows hardware made by Andersen. The operator looks like the 39-095. As for the window lock, we no longer carry the older style shown in your photos. Our best options would be the 38-056 and 38-057, along with the 38-135 keeper, but I'm not sure if they will work on your window since the profile of the body is different than yours. Take a look at all the related hardware for casement windows, along with the videos on the website. See if this hardware matches up to yours or if you might be able to adapt them to work for your window.

Dave, really appreciate your help. I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff like this but there's no way i would have been able to find these without your help. I'll measure tonight and see if they fit.
