Silverline Garden widow and the casement locks have broken

The part is 4" x 1" there are 2 on the window. This window as purchased in 2006.

I want to know how to remove the locks so the window can be opened.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to remove one of these locks once they break because the installation screws can only be accessed while the window is open. Essentially, it will need to be cut out of a window which we strongly recommend hiring a professional to help you with. If you have another window using this lock, feel free to send us a photo of the lock removed from the window and we will do our best to find a replacement for you. Thank you!
