One of the plastic pieces on my window is broken and the window won't close. I sent a picture of the one that works as well.

Hello,

Thanks for writing in! The part you are searching for is the track slider installed to the casement window hinge. Unfortunately, we do not sell this part separately and I'm not certain if any other companies do.

We can offer a replacement for the hinge, however, I'll need to see a photo of the entire hinge to determine the best possible replacement for your hardware.

I am looking for someone who can change a hinge for me from among my family/friends. Does the top hinge also have to be replaced, or only the broken hinge?

It would be best to replace both hinges at the same time. There is a likelihood that the casement hinges we carry may not be an exact replacement match. Replacing both of them will ensure that they do match and that the window will continue to function properly.

Replacing both of them now will also prevent you from having to replace the top hinge at a later date.
