Silverline patio sliding door 5700 lock latch

Question

Hello,
During transport the door was locked and somehow the piece that the door locks onto snapped from the frame. Any idea what that piece is called.

Sounds like you could be talking about the keeper. Do you still have the old one? If you do, I'd like to see if. If not, we'd like to see the handle set in question, in addition to the mortise lock or any broken pieces you still have. In the meantime, check out our our 89-045 and see if this could work as a replacement.
