Silverline single hung window balance

Home Owner from North Carolina

Hello Sir/Mam:

I'm trying to replace the balance in a Silverline single hung window. The house was built in 2006 and the paper label with the window info has faded.

Here is a number I found on the balance, 32 3 BS 2H. It moves via a cord and is 33 3/4 inches long and about 1/2 inch wide.

Are you able to determine which balance ican replace the broken one for my window?

Thank you.

Hi, Verna! We absolutely carry replacements for this hardware. I recommend looking at our S795-32 channel balance to start out with. Look over our photos and dimensions and let me know what you think. We also have the 26-053A balance stop, which appears to match yours.

Hello Sir: I confirmed with the builder that the window is a Silver line 2900 window. Does that make a difference in the balance you listed above?

Not necessarily, no. Your best bet is to go by the physical design of the balance as compared to the recommended hardware. Silverline windows have used all sorts of different balances so we don't always like to rely on just brand name.
