I need to replace the plastic bracket that holds the shoe. A bunch of them have snapped in the windows around my house. The springs are all present and in good shape as far as I can tell.

Hello,

Your pivot shoe is similar to the Certainteed 15-192 but, unfortunately, they may not work for your Simonton windows and would likely require shaving down the front of the shoe. Even some customers with Certainteed windows have reported needing to make adaptations. For that reason, we came up with the conversion shown in the video below to replace all of the necessary balance hardware. Take a look and thanks for posting!

thanks. I'll try the Certainteed 15-192 and see how it goes. If it is indeed a real pain to install then I'll consider doing the full conversion.

Sounds like a plan. I would recommend holding onto the metal cams from your original pivot shoes since you may need to swap out the ones that come with the 15-192 as well for your pivot bars to be compatible.
