Simonton no longer makes this pivot shoe, unfortunately. The only potential solution we have is to replace it with our Certainteed brand coil balance parts; specifically, our 15-192 shoe, Series 170 and Series 171 springs, 15-156 cover, and 15-157 bushing. The video below shows you how all these parts work together. It's important to note that some customers have reported that the 15-192 is a little bit too thick to fit in the track. This isn't always the case but it happens often enough that I feel the need to mention it to you. If this ends up being the case, then you could sand the shoe down a little to fit; just understand that products altered in this way cannot be returned for a refund. |
