Simonton Coil Balance System

Question

I have a Simonton 6500 series window order number 115728/03 that needs left and right hand Pivot shoe, coil spring and cover for the left and right side. Would you have these parts or equivalent parts?

Simonton no longer makes this pivot shoe, unfortunately. The only potential solution we have is to replace it with our Certainteed brand coil balance parts; specifically, our 15-192 shoe, Series 170 and Series 171 springs, 15-156 cover, and 15-157 bushing. The video below shows you how all these parts work together.

It's important to note that some customers have reported that the 15-192 is a little bit too thick to fit in the track. This isn't always the case but it happens often enough that I feel the need to mention it to you. If this ends up being the case, then you could sand the shoe down a little to fit; just understand that products altered in this way cannot be returned for a refund.
