Simonton Double Hung coil, balance . . . 5500 Reflections

Question

One side of the balance/coil broke.  What parts do we need to replace this so the window will stay up when we open it? Thanks.

This looks like a 15-192 Shoe, which uses the Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Balances. See the video below for details. Note that the Simonton version of this shoe has a slightly different shaped metal cam, which can affect pivot bar compatibility. We suggest you swap out the metal cams with the new shoes to ensure they work with your windows.
