Question

Top portion of window will not stay closed. We need the parts to fix the upper part of the window. Trying to fix the window so we can pass inspection as we are trying to sell our house. Thank you for your time.

Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 15-228 pivot shoe to see how it compares to your original. This pivot shoe is compatible with the 3/8" Series 165 and the 1/2" thick Series 160 coil springs. You will need to measure to confirm the best fit!

Dimensions for 15-228

The coil spring should have a number imprinted on the metal that indicates the weighted option needed. If there are no markings, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward. The sash will need to be removed and placed on a bathroom scale.
