Based on the information you've provided It seems like the 82-030 handle set, as well as the 82-310 key lock that is sold separately, may work for you. To be sure, we'd like to see a photo of the mortise lock in the center of the door to make sure that our hardware is compatible. Thank you!

It looks like your door uses the 82-226 mortise lock, which would be compatible with the parts that I recommended. 

Also, the 82-030 handle set and 82-310 key lock are sold separately. We'll add a video below to help you through the process of installing the key lock. Please note that your door does not require the key lock housing shown in the video, but the installation process is the same. Thanks for posting. 

I see that you purchased the 82-086, which has an offset thumb latch that is fixed and can't be moved, which also means that the key lock would be in a different position to meet the thumb latch in the mortise lock. 

The 82-030 handle set that we recommended actually has an adjustable thumb latch and multiple punch-out options to accommodate the 82-310 key lock, which should correct the problem that you're having.
