Simonton Pivot Shoe, Coil Balances and Tilt latches Needed

Question

I'm needing some replacement parts for some simonton windows in a house I'm remodeling. Need balancer, pivot shoes, pivot bar and tilt latch.

Hey, Matt! We can definitely help with this project. Simonton doesn't make this hardware anymore, but you can use our 15-192 pivot shoe and Series 170 spring to replace the old hardware. You can also use the 15-156 cover and 15-157 drum, if you can't reuse the old ones.

There's one more important detail to note, however. You have to reuse your old cam with the 15-192 housing. The metal cam that comes with the 15-192 is not compatible with the Simonton pivot bar.

Speaking of the pivot bar, your old model can be replaced by our 26-336. You'll note that this has a "collar" of sorts around the front tip. This is the main reason why it can't work in the 15-192. If you can't reuse your old cam, you'll have to grind this collar down to fit it in the new style shoe.

Finally, concerning the tilt latches, see our 26-243 and 26-244. Carefully compare our dimensions to yours and let me know what you think.
