Simonton Pivot Spring

Question

I bought 4 15-192 CertainTeed Pivot Springs to replace my Simonton broken pivot springs in a double hung Simonton window. The replacement cam on the inside in the new pivot does not fit the pivit bar on my Simonton window, so I exchanged the new u-shaped cam with the old cam. It still does not slide. Should I get a different pivot spring? Or a different pivot bar? I am not certain what to buy. Thanks, Tom

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Can you specify what's not sliding? Is it the shoe in the track? If so, you have to make sure to shave off the aligners on the face of the 15-192.
