Thanks for contacting SWISCO. See our 26-336 Pivot Bar. Compare the dimensions to be safe and see what you think. As far as your Coil Balance system, it appears you have a 15-192 Pivot Shoe. This is compatible with Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Springs. f you have one spring on each side of the window, use the Series 170. If you have two springs on each side of the window, the Series 170 spring goes on the bottom, while the Series 171 goes on the top. Look for any stamped numbers on the springs to know which weight to select. If you can't find any stamps, you will need to weigh your window sash. The coil balances are distinguished by the amount of weight they are meant to support. For instance, the S170-409 is meant to hold 9 lbs. If your window sash weighed 18 lbs, you would want a coil spring that supports 9 lbs on either side (so an S170-409 on each side of the window). If you need help with this just let us know and we'll help work out the right choices with you. |

For the pivot bar, the overall doesn't matter, as there's plenty of space for it to fit within the window sash; the most important details are the overall configuration and the distance between the installation hole and the tip of the pin that inserts into the pivot shoe. We are confident the one we recommended should work. For your coil springs, your stamp indicates 10 lbs of support on either side of your window, which indicates a 20 lb window sash. Is that correct? You may want to weigh your window sash just to be safe. If so, then you should order (2) of the S170-405 and (2) of the S171-405. Each of these springs is meant to support 5 lbs of weight. A S170-405 would go on the bottom on each side, while a S171-405 would go on the top of each side. This equals 10 lbs of support on each side of your window sash, and 20 lbs of support overall. Let us know if you have any other questions. |
