Hi

this Simonton window won't stay up. I need to replace coil.

Thanks for posting, Claudia. Your pivot shoe looks like our 15-111. As for the spring itself, I think you could have either our 3/8" wide Series 165 coil or the 1/2" wide Series 160 coil. See what you think. You can use the numbers printed on your existing spring to confirm the proper option for either.

Hi Paul,
I think the s160 will work.
Sash wt= 18lbs
Height= 29"
Width=33 3/8".
The sash has 2 coils in either side.

Hi Paul,
I forgot to mention that one of the coils has a patent #5232208. & 5 -33".
The second coil has a # 3 stamped on it.

If your sash weighs 18 pounds, and was supported by four balances altogether (two on each side), then I recommend the S160-4. Each of these can carry 4.5 pounds each.
